What's getting your attention this Spring?

Hi,
Spring tends to surface an uncomfortable truth for many leaders: there are more good things to do than there is attention to give them.
Most of the people I work with aren’t careless or behind—they’re simply carrying a lot. Programs, people, planning, communication, administration. In that context, the website often becomes one more responsibility quietly sitting in the background, asking for attention when something breaks or feels outdated.
What I’ve noticed over time is this:
the real cost of a DIY website isn’t just technical—it’s cognitive.
Every update you have to remember.
Every plugin notice you ignore.
Every “we should really fix that” that never quite reaches the top of the list.
My work at Hale Creative is shaped around a simple conviction: some responsibilities are worth handing off, not because they’re unimportant, but because your energy is better spent elsewhere. A well-supported website should be a stable tool—not another project competing for your focus.
If this spring you’re reassessing what you’re carrying, and what you don’t need to carry alone, I’m always glad to offer perspective—whether that leads to working together or simply clarifying next steps.
