What have you been up to? We've been trundling across the country, bouncing from spot to spot. While we could easily just park, set up our chairs, and enjoy the views, sometimes we want to do a little bit more.

Long ago, we took The Boy up on a free Young Eagles flight that came with a student membership to the EAA. That doesn't sound like much, until you learn about museum reciprocity. The EAA is a member of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, or ASTC. Many museums and some zoos offer ASTC reciprocity, meaning that if you're a member of another ASTC institution, then they consider you a member of theirs!

Also, small towns often have little free museums or historical societies that are always an eclectic hoot!
