Hi ,

One month of summer left! What are your goals for the month? We finally have our winter plans hammered out, so I'm looking to make the most of our current location before we head out. More bowling and hitting some touristy attractions!

Here's what's new on the blog:

  • Codenames is an interesting clue-giving game that can be lots of fun.
  • One of my son's (many) favorite games is Here to Slay, by the makers of Unstable Unicorns.
  • Piratoons is a fantastic resource-management game perfect for pirate-lovers!
  • Shifting Stones is great for developing spatial awareness and strategy.
  • Everyone has heard of Axis and Allies, but here's my family's take on it.

This month, you can look forward to posts on The Oregon Trail Card Game, History Games, Free Homeschooling Resources, Games for 6 or more players, and Physics Games. I'm really excited about these long-overdue roundup posts!

New videos on the YouTube channel include Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters, Castle Panic, Forbidden Island, Hocus Pocus, and Back to the Future: Dice Through Time. You can look forward to play-through videos of Princess Bride: Adventure Book Game, Villainous, Rush Hour, and Cover Your Tracks.

What games are you hoping to play this month? What have been your favorites from previous months? Are there any games you've been eyeing and wondering about? Hit reply and let me know; I'd love to hear from you! Until next time,

Happy Gaming!
