December Update
Dec 06, 2025 6:01 pm
Hi ,
So, this update is a little late because I had so many deals to tell you about last week. I hope you have safely recovered from any Thanksgiving madness and are enjoying your December.
If your family needs more quiet family time and nights at home, maybe play a game together! Cooperative games can be very helpful if your family needs to reconnect or if tensions are high.
In November, I got up new game reviews:
- Mad Gab is a challenging game for my family, but it is a great way to stretch your brain!
- Code Master is a fantastic single-player coding game.
- If your kids are learning to code, here are the (screen-free!) coding games my family has tried.
- Periodic is the first of the chemistry games my family tried; stay tuned to catch the rest!
- Valence is small, short, oh-so-fun, and actually great for chemistry learning!
This month, you can look forward to reviews of the rest of the chemistry games: Ion, Compounded, and Subatomic.
On the YouTube channel, we have new play-throughs of Axis and Allies, Oregon Trail Card Game, Clue, Story Line: Fairy Tales, and Labyrinth. In the next month, you can look forward to play-throughs of CAMP, Chronology, Betabotz, and the Dangerous Book for Boys Game.
If you're already looking at holiday-themed games, the only one my family has tried is Santa Cookie Elf Candy Snowman, but (affiliate link:) there are tons more!
What are your family's plans for the winter season? I'd love to hear from you! Until next time,
Happy Gaming!
~Ashley
P.S. If you haven't signed up yet but want in on the deals and fun, the (affiliate link:) Pocket Homeschool Advent is still going on!
