It's Dad, checking in

Hey there, . Staying warm? I know that cold blast was in the past, but it's still a little bit 'til spring... springs? blooms? Arrives!
While we wait for the daffodils and tulips to peek out, here are some simple ways to keep you and yours warmer:
- If you can, park your rig facing east to west, with most of your windows on the south side. This will maximize heating, with the low summer sun hitting the broad side of your rig.
- Open up your cabinets at night, at least the ones with plumbing behind them. Even with a heater running full down the center of your rig, cabinet doors can make little cold pockets that can ice up.
- Eat hearty food. High-fat and high-protein food can trigger our body's metabolism to "heat up" to burn off the extra calories.
Of course, the best way we found to stay warm is cuddling with the kids and watching a movie!
What are some of your favorite tricks to beat the cold? We'd love to hear them!
Happy Travels!
~Dad
