A great way to accomplish this is with Low-Emissivity Glass (Low-E) which can help to keep buildings cool during hot summers and warm during winter. These special windows are being used more and more throughout the world due to their capabilities. Low-E (Low-Emissivity) glass is a type of energy-efficient glass that is coated with a thin layer of metal or metallic oxide. This coating helps cut down on the amount of ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) light that gets through the glass. This can make a building more energy efficient, protect it from UV rays, and make it more comfortable. Read more...
