How to break down your goals in actionable steps (Part 2 of 4)

Hi,
As I said in my last email, prepare for a journey throughout a time where I found my job absolutely frustrating. You'll see how it relates to breaking down goals.
Imagine going to the office from 7.00am-3.30pm one week, 9am-5.30pm the next week, then 10.30am-7.00pm the next, to then repeat the cycle again.
It was exhausting, tedious and the work became repetitive.
I couldn't meet with family, friends or take part in the things that fulfilled me.
I started to invite negativity in my life. Why?
Now I loved technology. Being a tech consultant and support analyst was great, pay was great (trust me), company was great and annual retreats were great, but I was still unhappy.
I wasn't fulfilled, I wanted to make a change, but how? I asked:
"is this really what I'll be doing for the rest of my life?"
"It would be such a big step to move away from a career I spent my life preparing for."
"What am I supposed to do?"
So, I went ahead with it...
I'll explain what I did (oh boy) next week.
Cheers,
Neil
