Let's spend April Walking in the Light of Jesus!
Mar 28, 2026 2:46 pm
Hi friend,
As we step into April, we’re opening our Bibles to John 7–8:44 — and this month carries a powerful invitation:
These chapters are filled with questions, opinions, and tension. People are unsure what to believe. Voices are loud. Truth feels contested.
And right in the middle of it all… Jesus speaks.
He reminds us that His timing is perfect — even when we feel rushed.
He calls us to look beyond appearances and seek what is true.
He invites us to come to Him when we are thirsty.
He meets us with grace in our most vulnerable places.
And He declares:
“I am the Light of the World.”
This month is about more than understanding Scripture.
It’s about allowing truth to reshape the way we live.
Because Jesus doesn’t just reveal truth —
He leads us into freedom.
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
Throughout April, we’ll be gently asking:
- Where am I rushing instead of trusting God’s timing?
- What voices am I listening to?
- Where am I feeling spiritually empty?
- Is there any area of my life I’m keeping hidden in the dark?
- What truth do I need to hold onto?
This is not a month of pressure or perfection.
It’s a month of clarity.
Of honesty.
Of stepping out of shame and into His light.
If you’re studying along with us, the Walk in the Light April Kit in combination with the Come and See Workbook, was created to guide you through this in a meaningful and approachable way.
Inside the kit you’ll find:
- 5 PDF pages full of images and a PNG file of digital images
- Scripture writing plan for John 7–8:44
- Reflection prompts to help you process truth vs. lies
- Journaling pages for stepping into freedom
- Encouraging Scripture art to keep truth in front of you all month
Everything is designed to help you slow down, engage with God’s Word, and respond personally to what He is showing you.
You don’t have to have all the answers this month.
You just have to be willing to come into the light.
Let’s open our Bibles.
Let’s listen for His voice.
Let’s walk in truth — together.
With you in the Word,
Amy Benham
