Hello ,
I hope this message finds you well. Greetings to any new subscribers!
I have just returned from a mini-vacation in Las Vegas where I enjoyed time with my family, ate some delicious food, and walked WAY TOO much in heat that would rival Darkhaven, Mustafar, or even Mordor! We had to settle for a quick getaway this time as everyone's work and/or school schedules didn't allow for a longer trip. All-in-all it was a great trip and though there were some interesting happenings (as all Vegas trips should have), we made it back home safe, sound, and refreshed!
Speaking of Mordor, have you seen the trailers for the new Rings of Power series on Amazon? The production value looks solid and the clips they've shown have definitely piqued my curiosity. With Comic-Con San Diego this weekend, I have a feeling we'll get a lot more trailers and news of upcoming Science Fiction and Fantasy projects.
What upcoming movies, series, books, or comics are you excited about? Let me know!

Mechhaven Missives
- As I mentioned above, I was out of town for a few days on a mini vacation. I didn't write at all while I was gone. The complete break was a nice reset and reboot. I've knocked out a few thousand words since I returned home.
- Currently I've completed 40,000 words on Rally Point. This puts me about 40% complete on the first draft.
- A couple of interesting side plots have emerged while writing Rally Point. I'm eager to explore where these go. I have a feeling some of these will go into Book 5 and beyond. Next up I'm getting ready to write some scenes that I've had in mind since writing On Darkhaven Forged.

The rich and powerful seized control of the global economies while the poor were left to die in the streets. Not until they suffered enough would the rebellious bend their knee to authority, but even then, it would be too late to stop what was coming.
