My Musings

Looks like we'll be getting some much needed rain in SoCal over the next few days. This is great for the fire situation. I'm looking forward to it as well. I find cool, cloudy weather ideal for writing. As you'll see below, I'm getting very close to finally wrapping up the first draft of By Archangel's Light. I have a few errands to run this morning, but then I'll be back home writing for the rest of the weekend!

Killing machines. Shadow organizations. A desperate attempt to stay sane.

After failing the most important exam of his life, Kyle is forced into a VR war. Now, he fights on the front lines as cannon fodder for what he always assumed was the government, losing a little part of his memories with every virtual death.

When the mission he’s on goes wrong, Kyle is stranded on a planet far from his original destination. Finally given a chance to make an impression in the organization, Kyle will have to risk his mind for a chance at salvation.

If he fails, he'll lose all will to resist: making him the perfect soldier.

Winter Harvest is book one of the eight-book Space Seasons series, a LitRPG sci-fi space opera set on another world with mechs, spaceships, levels, and… well… pure evil.

Accelerated evolution ‘Manifold’ technology has changed everything – dead worlds and asteroids bloom with strange new life.

People flocked to colonise the new wilderness only barely to survive obliteration by a Manifold experiment gone wrong. Like so many others, Bryn watched his people burn that day. Unlike the rest, Bryn finds himself hailed as the lone hero who saved his species. Only he knows better.

Bryn’s grim new life of solitude in the depths of the wilderness is shattered when the past comes calling. His presence is requested on the ringworld Wilderness Five.

There, at the edge of inhabited space, the oldest and richest man in the System has expended every drop of his money and influence to launch the most daring Manifold experiment ever attempted.

Bryn’s moment has come. Plunged back into a world of faceless corporations, hell-bent scientists, and terrifying engineered species, he must learn to finally live up to his reputation. Otherwise, nature will take its course with humanity once and for all.

Commander Sorăna Mirra has spent years leading a hand-picked team of marine special operators. Together they've taken the fight to humanity's oldest foe, the vicious Kyrans, defeating them time and again—time and again, knowing they’ll get no credit for their victories.

When an audacious Kyran raid strikes deep into human territory, Mirra and her team are thrust into the heart of hostile space to retaliate. It's business as usual—until a shocking discovery in the enemy compound calls the true purpose of their mission into question, and dredges up painful memories of the Great War.

Now, Mirra must battle not only the enemy, but her own buried regrets as she and her team fight for survival, retribution, and the truth. But in war, truth—like memory—can be a dangerous thing.

The Blade Within is a gripping prequel to the Si Vis Astra series, delivering intense action, sharp tactics, and a powerful exploration of the scars left by war.

Until next time, have fun and read a lot of books!
