She asked the impossible

,

Recently, a client emailed me, "I will probably need you [again] and maybe someone who isn’t so ethical. Can you recommend someone like that?"

I take pride in the fact that Gravitas Investigations is so ethical.

We don't conduct illegal pretexts, we can't bug your husband's phone, and we can't get a credit history without a signed release.

And even though we'd done great (and ethical) work for this client previously, my answer was, of course, "No."

Sorry I'm not sorry.

But which email response should I go with?

  1. Good luck finding a PI who can live with themselves after lying and cheating for you.
  2. Are you sure you want a PI who cuts corners and skips steps?
  3. A good PI doesn't need to bend the rules to be successful, they just need determination and intelligence.
  4. I only work with PIs who value honesty and professionalism above all else.
  5. An unethical PI is not worth the trouble they bring, trust me.
  6. The only "unethical" thing I do is continue to turn down clients like you who value unethical behavior over true justice and fairness.
  7. Why hire someone who still has their morals intact when you can hire someone who has already sold theirs?
  8. Looking for a PI with zero scruples? I know just the person...me, but from before my conscience got in the way.
  9. Gonna have to pass on that request. I only work with the cream of the crop in the PI world...aka people who actually follow the law.
  10. What kind of PI do you want? One that follows the law and gets results, or one that breaks it and potentially lands you in jail?

Always staying above the line,

Adam Visnic, P.I.

I would say a combination of a few of these responses especially #10. My feedback on this answer box and last name box of signing up for your email list is my response is lime green, virtually not reachable to the response.
