Are you brave yet?

Courage is a complicated thing.
You either have it or you don't, right?
I'm not so sure.
You see, I see courage as a muscle.
It's something you have to train each and everyday to make stronger.
Do you know who my favourite courageous figures are?
They're all found in fiction.
Although I don't love Harry Potter as much as I used to, Harry is easily one of the most courageous characters in existence.
The dude is a little scrawny dork with glasses.
On the face of it, he doesn't strike you as someone who's blessed with fearlessness.
And yet, every single film sees him facing a nightmare out of hell.
There's that 3 headed dog...
The massive snake...
The army of spiders...
Not to mention the megalomaniacal Voldemort.
The kid has progressively overloaded his courage muscle to the point where courage is just natural.
He's exposed himself to so many threats that his muscle has been forced to grow.
Does he still feel fear?
Of course.
I remember him being unwavering in his contest against a dragon, yet was trembling at the thought of asking a girl out to prom.
Fear is an inescapable emotion for all humans.
We're not robots.
We get afraid.
But what we can do is get used to dealing with it.
It's not easy, but it's doable.
This is how I look at content creation.
Before starting it, I was terrified of posting things online.
I don't know why.
Maybe it was the potential hate I'd receive online.
Maybe it was because I was afraid of what other people in my life would think.
Maybe it was even an internal battle because I didn't believe I was good enough.
Whatever it was, it took me a long time to face.
Now that I've been doing it for so long, I have no fear of posting online.
But this doesn't mean I lack fear completely.
It took me ages to start an email list.
It took me even longer to have the confidence to create my own products.
Every new endeavour comes with fear.
And no one,not even Harry Potter, is immune to it.
Just know you're not alone.
And if you're not brave yet, you will be soon.
The guide I gifted you may not be the best.
But it was a sincere attempt to help solve a problem which I solved for myself.
I hope you found it somewhat helpful.
Speak soon,
