Hello my dear email subscriber,

It's Godfrey.

Today was meant to be a good day.

• I had my to-do list from the night before
• I was well-rested and full of energy
• Everything was hunky dory

As I usually do, I hopped in the shower to freshen up and get ready for a full day of work.

The shower was fantastic.

The warm water was caressing my skin and cleansing me from all of yesterday's struggles.

But as soon as I switched it off, the boiler began to rumble.

I'd never heard it make this noise before...

Not knowing what to do, I kept drying myself off - hoping it would eventually stop.

Then - all hell broke loose.

IT STARTED LEAKING.

And before I knew it - IT STARTED GUSHING.

Water began bursting out of it like a dam that had just been blown up.

I was scrambling around naked, having no idea what to do.

I switched it off - nothing.

I turned off the main water supply - still nothing.

My best solution to counteract this existential crisis?

A yellow bucket.

I've filled it up at least 8 times now and it's STILL going...
