Wishing you well into the New Year!

Greetings from your Gillett Area Chamber!

We are so thankful for all our members and look forward to what 2025 has in store for us and our community!

Our Chamber Board seeks to make our community a great place to live, work, and be a part. We have sent out our letters for renewing and joining in 2025!

Every quarter we will have meetings once at 7:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM on the second Thursday of the month. We begin January with our first meeting in 2025 at noon at the City of Gillett Firehouse. One change we will be implementing with our meetings is that we will limit the amount of discussion to keep our meeting times down to one hour and this will be kept with a timekeeper. If discussion needs to be extended on a topic we will move that to a smaller meeting after the main meeting that will allow members to be involved and engaged and will eliminate any rabbit trails that sometimes extend our meeting time. We hope that this will allow for more of our members to feel that they can confidently participate in our meetings.

One of the themes for 2025 that the Board is putting forward is Positivity! How can we make a positive impact in our community? That is something we should always think about in our lives, yet we can be easily distracted by the things we see going on in our world. Think about how you may help a neighbor or how you talk with people you come into contact with every day. It is amazing how much impact a simple kind word can have in a persons day.

As we make our resolutions for the New Year! Let us be thankful for the last and look ahead to how we can be agents for change in the places we live and work!

Happy New Year!
