December 2025 & Hwy 22

Amazingly, December is already here! Boy, how time flies!

Mailings are going out to remind everyone to make sure to renew Chamber Membership for 2026! We are excited for what the future holds for our community! With that being said, the Hwy 22 project is moving ahead, and the contracts were finally finalized for the utility side of the project!

Beginning Monday, December 8, work will begin on the sewer and water, starting at Washington Street and moving out in both directions! Hwy 22 will remain open for through traffic, but detours will be established to get around he community more easily. We will try to keep you up to date as information becomes available. We will be coordinating with the city and will seek to place updates on both gillettchamber.com and cityofgillett.com, so you can visit and look for Jill the Gillett Construction Tiger to keep you up-to-date. We will be coordinating with the city to find ways to help promote our businesses during this time.
