South Africa is heading toward a general election on May 29, 2024. It is an unsettling event--change is desperately needed but what upheaval will a new government bring? Will it secure more stable electricity and water supplies? Will corruption be delt with better than it is under the ANC (African National Congress)? I mean, after 30 years in power, they still blame the Apartheid government for their shortcomings. And we all know that politicians promise anything in the run-up to an election.
Oh well, we shall see what we shall see. And we will all carry on regardless.
Now, without further delay, here is what I have for you this week.
