A witch, a vampire colony, a dragon shifter, and one little hotblood...

She doesn't belong there. She is just an ordinary 26-year-old girl with no special talents or superpowers, except for an affinity for sick animals.

Yet, suddenly, because she liked a guy she barely knew and wanted to explore her options for a future with him, she finds herself in a vampire colony with no way of escape.

Her friend abandons her, leaving her at the mercy of his brother, who just happens to be the most gorgeous man she has ever seen.

She could not have foreseen what awaited her.

Pre-order His Brother's Mate Here!

When I started writing this book, it was going to be a stand-alone contemporary romance with nary a vampire in sight—nor a ghost, for that matter. The title was A Farmer Wants A Wife

But then I got to know Enso and I realized he couldn't be anything but the vampire he is. To acknowledge his vampireness, I changed the title to

A Farmer Wants A Mate

Benji plays an elemental part in what happens to Harriet, so if Enso is a vampire, what is Benji other than Harriet's friend?

The title still didn't do the book justice. So, after a lot of thinking and playing around with words, it became book 1 in The Tasmanian Colony trilogy:

His Brother's Mate: Impossible Mates.

If you pre-order your copy for 99c now, you will receive it on Friday, just in time for the weekend!
