Hi there, ghost lovers!
Thank you so much for joining me!
Just a quick update on the South African national election I mentioned. We patiently stood in line in the cold to vote on Wednesday, we made our mark in the appropriate block and went home very proud of ourselves. Now we are eagerly awaiting the results, which we were promised by Sunday at the latest.
We can only hope for change to come...
Other than that, winter is getting serious - we even have snow predicted for this weekend! The weather service always gets things wrong, so we'll have to wait and see. But winter is the time for my Christmas Cacti (Easter Cacti) to flower. These are the first to open. Aren't they gorgeous?
Now, without further delay, here is what I have for you this week.
I have so much going on!
As always, I can't leave things that bother me alone until I have fixed them.
So, it became time for a change in the form of new covers for 2 of my series.
First was my Magick & Fangs Vampire Trilogy. I never liked the covers, so it was time for them to go. These were the old covers:
They were just too red, the woman looked odd, and the male model didn't appeal to me at all.
So, Magick & Fangs became this:
I mean, this is a dark romance/urban fantasy trilogy, and in my opinion, the old covers didn't do it justice.
Magick & Fangs tells the story of a vampire who doesn't want to be one. He devises a plan to cure himself of this malady, but without her knowing it, he is a danger to the young woman who is in love with him. He lies to her because her blood will be his cure.
He does love her, though, but when a man loves, he may not do so with his heart.
Fortunately for Sophia, when a vampire is here, witches are near. A witch is the young woman's only protection, as long as she believes and obeys.
And where there are witches, there are ghosts because everyone knows a vampire is no one's friend...
I'll tell you about the changes I made to another series next week.
