I have a question for you. Do you know what a writer's fork is?
I just love palmistry, don't you?
Years ago I discovered that I was the proud owner of a writer's fork. Don't scoff, it is a real thing. You can find it at the end of the Head Line as it slopes down to the outer edge of the palm.
And the significance of this tiny little crease of skin on the palm of your hand?
It denotes the balance between realism and imagination - exactly what any self-respecting author should have.
And yes, I have it.
Does this mean I am a born liar? I mean, everything I write is a lie because the people in my books don't exist except in my head. They are very real to me.
(Have I just certified myself?)
I am a storyteller. And I aim to entertain my readers and keep them coming back for more.
