MEMBERSHIP CARD UPDATE

While membership cards are in, delivery and distribution has been delayed due to COVID and the island's return to PCOR1. Once the lockdown has been lifted and our office is reopened to members, we will resume distributing membership cards to Stewards and members. We appreciate your patience and your understanding. For the time being, your existing membership card is still valid.

GFT-GDOE TELEWORKING CONCERNS

GFT would like to thank all of the members who submitted teleworking and working from home concerns. Our President, Tim Fedenko and Vice-President, Sanjay Sharma, met with Superintendent Jon Fernandez last week to discuss member concerns. This is an ongoing conversation and once decisions have been made, we will be sure to keep you updated.

GFT OFFICE CLOSED TO MEMBERS

With the Governor's announcement to return to PCOR1 and the new lockdown procedures, the GFT Office will be closed to members starting Monday, August 17. Should you need assistance, staff members can be reached by email. We hope that you all continue to stay safe and healthy during this time.
