Are you a volunteer victim of the "What If"?

Are you a volunteer victim of the "What If"?

"What If" kills many dreams. People have visions of accomplishing great things but never follow through because they constantly wonder "What If" this or that happens. This "What If" cycle victimizes them by taking away the opportunities presented to achieve their dream. Are you a victim of the "What If" in regard to your own dream? If so, I want to encourage you to stop being a victim of the "What If".

THE "WHAT IF" GOT HIM

Several years ago, I was talking to a good friend named Ronald. He is in his late 30s, slim, with mocha colored skin. He said "Gene, I'm ready to start that at-risk program I told you about." "Are you sure because you said that a couple of years ago, and you still haven't taken any action?" "I know, but this time I think it's going to happen." "You think it will happen, or will it happen? Because you've been thinking a long time?"

CHOOSE ACTION

He got silent and looked at the ground, so I asked, "Why aren't you taking action on this program?" "To be honest, I'm always thinking "What If" no one likes it or "What If" I do all of that work, and it fails." "Ronald, if you keep on thinking "What If" instead of taking action, your dream will continue to be the victim of your "What If".

Unfortunately, Ronald still hasn't started that program because he continues to let the "What If" keep him from taking action and I want to discourage you from doing the same. Don't Be A Victim of The "What If" like Ronald, instead start taking action towards your dream because You Are WORTHY TO BE GREAT!
