How Instant Gratification
Can Destroy YOUR Ambition
Handcuffed to a hospital bed.
When I was 10 years old, a friend of mine got a new basketball for his birthday. His name was Timmy. Timmy lived about three houses down from me, and he was an incredible athlete. He was naturally gifted, physically strong, and blessed with great genetics.
By the time he was 13 or 14, he looked almost like a grown man. He was the greatest athlete in our neighborhood.
At 14 or 15 years old, Timmy could dunk on a 10-foot basketball goal. He had excellent basketball skills, and when he got to high school, colleges from across the country began showing interest in him, not only for basketball but also for football.
