easy to forget

Hi ,

It’s been more than one and a half years already when the pandemic started. . . and a lot of things around us have changed…

Work-from-home set-ups, digital or online meetings where several people can actually be online all at the same time, and even entertainment such as concerts can be done digitally. Even we, ourselves have actually changed – well, I for one, have gained some weight.

But, what I am saying is that in all these things… GOD has not changed at all, even a bit… since Day 1… since Genesis!

He’s a God that continues to be faithful even if we are not.

He is gracious even if we do not deserve it.

And He remembers what He promises even most of the time we forget ours.

From the short passage of Asaph’s psalm, we knew that the house of Jacob had once again forgotten who GOD is and what He did for their sake in the past and what He can actually do in their midst during their time. Like the Israelites, all of us have tendencies to easily forget who GOD is and what He can do to deliver us from our particular situations…. and time and again, even in our forgetfulness, the good news, great news that is… GOD cannot deny Himself and continues to be faithful and is always ready to rescue us.

What about you? Madali ka bang makalimot? Do you easily forget the wonderful things God has given you… His provisions, unconditional love, guidance, wisdom, miraculous protection (covering from COVID-19), and intervention, grace and favor along with material blessings.

Let’s change the title, don’t you think? let us be...

quick to remember that our GOD is good!
