Greetings!

My apologies, once again…as last week, this week’s message is also exceedingly short.

As I mentioned last week, I am dealing with some personal business that is taking more time than expected.

That said, I do have some good news to share! Next week I will be introducing a new project: our Amusing Ourselves To Death read-along. I have been wanting to go more deeply into a specific text, so over the coming weeks and months, we will be looking closely at Neil Postman’s most famous work.

Also, I am happy to be able to offer you Part Two of my interview with Professor Lance Strate of Fordham University. Strate was a student of Neil Postman and is one of the main contemporary proponents of Media Ecology.
