"In an age of artificial intelligence, the scarce resource is human depth: attention, memory, patience, sustained effort. These are precisely the capacities that early smartphone adoption destroys."

The One Thing AI Cannot Replicate (And How We're Destroying It in Children)
Hey ,
As I mentioned in my last message, for the past several months I've been working on something a little different from my usual content...something more practical.
It started as a question I kept getting: "What do I actually do about my child and technology?" I didn't have a satisfying answer. So I spent time building one. The result is a free 5-part email course called The First Smartphone Dilemma.
If you have children...or know someone who does (please forward this on!)...I think you'll find it useful.
You can learn more about it HERE...
Or check out my latest video (link above) or BLOG POST where I discuss my thoughts in greater depth. They look at what AI can never replicate, what the developmental science actually says about early smartphone use, and why the child who learns to sit still and think slowly in 2026 will have a competitive advantage that no amount of tech savvy can match.
Thanks, as always, for coming along on this journey with me!
Warmly,
Herman
