Belated Thanksgiving, a charity anthology, and which cover would you choose?

Greetings from stunning Abbotsford, British Columbia!
We're having a strange run of weather out here on the west coast of Canada. Autumn is in the air - the leaves are turning, there's a crispness in the early morning air, and the calendar says October. Except most of our daytime highs are summer weather temperatures and we're still in the middle of a drought. Some streams are drying out and that has tragic consequences for the ecosystems. All to do with climate change, they say. And, if you were affected by Fiona or Ian, I extend my best wishes. My family in Nova Scotia only lost power for a day. So many people were hit much worse than that.
Finally, a belated Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends. I didn't have a family thing, so my beloved pooch (a certified therapy dog) and I visited with a friend at our local Denny's. And since I've spent the past month in the writing cave working on my December release, I needed a break. I sent the book to my editor yesterday, so we'll see what she says.
Okay, on to my news! I'd let you know about my upcoming release and I can now say my baby is out into the world. I loved writing the forced-proximity, light-hearted The Lightkeeper's Love Affair for a charity anthology earlier this year. I had a cover that I loved and I wrote the story for that cover. (left image) That being said, branding is important, and it didn't fit with my other covers. In the end, I hired a designer who gave me what I went with (right image).
Which do you prefer? Drop me a line and let me know! I'll always hold the first one in my heart, because it gave me the inspiration for the story. I really love the second, though. Especially because my designer included the real Tofino lighthouse - where the story is set. After sharing the cover, I discovered a friend used to work in that exact lighthouse. Small world! Charity Anthology News!
Some of my favorite m/f authors have teamed up to write this amazing anthology! The proceeds are going to the National Network of Abortion Funds. This fight is near to my heart as I watch women fight for their rights, even as I sit from a very privileged position in Canada. We can never take these things for granted. And often we don't talk about abortion. I've been lucky to never have been in a position where I needed to make that choice, but several of my close friends have. They were lucky - they didn't have to leave their homes to get the care they needed.
I hope you snap up the anthology. And the price is right as well!
