Greetings from steamy Abbotsford, British Columbia!

Again, I write to you in the dark. I love the quiet of early morning when it's just me, my dog, and the racoons scurrying about. When they're agitated, they make the oddest sound. And I worry because we live close to a major road, but they seem to have avoided incident so far. I've also spotted at least one skunk. Ally, my ChinPoo, (see pic below) doesn't feel the need to chase every woodland creature. My old dog, Keiko, did. Skunks sprayed us. Twice. And yes, it's as bad as you can imagine. My eyes stung for days and getting the smell out of my hair was a challenge. Okay, enough about my adventures in urban nature.

Hugh

I've had a great time writing in the world of the Single Dads of Gaynor Beach, and I'm thrilled my book is out and I can share it with you. Hugh means a lot to me for many reasons, but I'm always nervous when I release a new book. I really hope readers will give it a chance. Those who have so far have had positive things to say about it.

Hugh

Having spent more than twenty years as an emergency medicine physician in war zones around the world, I barely have a home to speak of. A daughter I didn’t know about has died and left a child behind, so I must get to Gaynor Beach, California to claim my granddaughter. Her temporary guardian is the first man to spark my interest in a very long time, but it would be inappropriate for me to have a relationship with this much-younger man.

Oscar

Gutted by my best friend’s death, I take solace in the daughter she left in my guardianship. I’ll protect this precious baby with all I have, and no one is going to take her away from me—least of all the man who turns up on our doorstep claiming to be her grandfather. Despite the resemblance, I plan to keep him at arm’s length. I’m going to show him how capable I am. But I might also lose my heart in the process.

This is an 85k word, hurt/comfort, interracial, age-gap, MM romance novel with a moderate amount of angst.

Did Gabbi Say Treats?

The magic word in our household. My dog will obey any command she knows, while the cat doesn't even stir. For my old, cantankerous 18-year-old Himi, I have to put them in front of her nose. At that point, though, she shows vague enthusiasm, and will even rouse herself to deign to eat them. Getting any food into her is good, as she's quite scrawny. Ally, on the other hand, is bordering on being a little too hearty. We need to work on that.

But I digress. I have treats for you! So many awesome m/m authors have teamed up for a huge giveaway on Prolific Works! Head on over and grab some summer reading!
