The paranormal gay romance I never meant to write is on sale and whispersynched

Hello again,
When my publisher proposed a series centered around a fictional inn in Vermont, I was intrigued. I pondered and probed and plotted in my mind. I knew I wanted to write a gay romance, but much beyond that I didn't have a clue. Then an image came to me: a black Civil War soldier in a cemetery. And so the questions began: Why was he there? What was the time period? Most importantly, who could love him?
I knew I needed a strong hero for Corporal Elijah Freeman to fall in love with. Professor Callum MacLaren fit the bill. Scottish, a teacher of history from Edinburgh, and visiting Vermont to study American history. All that sorted, I realized I had a tiny problem. The one hundred and fifty-year age gap. Well, obviously Elijah was a ghost. Problem solved. I wrote the story, telling a tale of romance that spanned time.
My publisher loved the book, and after several rounds of edits and a great cover, they listed the book for sale. I was so excited - my first gay romance on Amazon. Only the category Amazon placed the book in was paranormal romance. I bumped on that. Elijah was a ghost, sure, but he was real to me. And to my readers. I learned apparently ghosts are paranormal creatures. Go figure. At the time I had only read a few paranormal stories, so I made up my own rules. Wrote the book of my heart.
Want to know what happens to the ghost? You have to read it to find out. I will give you a hint - there's a happy ending.
I have great news! Elijah and Callum's story My Past, Your Future is on sale for 99 cents for a limited time:
.
Even better news! The brilliant Michael Ferraiuolo narrated My Past, Your Future for me and I have to say his Scots is fabulous. The audiobook is whispersynched and available through all platforms.
A Civil War ghost, a history professor, and the magic of the Winter Solstice...
Why the different cover? I published the audio myself and although I love the book cover, replicating it would have proven difficult. I decided I wanted Elijah on the cover. I hope you like it.
Finally...freebies! Who doesn't love a good m/m paranormal romance?
(Please check the price with your retailer as not all books are free in all markets - apologies for that).
