Dear Students and Parents,
At Gaayak, we are constantly striving to offer not just music classes, but a holistic learning experience that helps each student grow in confidence, creativity, and musical understanding.
We have a couple of important updates to share with you:
🔔 1. Class Cancellation Policy Update
To ensure our trainers’ time is respected and classes are conducted smoothly, we request that:
➡️ If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, please cancel the class from the Calendar menu in the Gaayak app.
➡️ Any cancellation made less than 3 hours before class time will be billed, as the trainer would have already reserved that slot for you.
We understand that emergencies may arise and will consider genuine situations on a case-by-case basis, but we request your cooperation in helping us plan efficiently.
🎓 2. Masterclasses, Evaluations & Theory – A Broader Learning Approach
To offer students richer exposure and deeper learning, we are introducing a new structure:
✅ Once in every 4 to 6 weeks, instead of your regular class, you will attend one of the following special sessions:
* Masterclasses with senior trainers to learn unique techniques, styles, and musical insights beyond your regular sylla-bus.
* Surprise evaluation sessions to track progress, boost performance confidence, and help students stay goal-focused.
🎶 For Carnatic music students, these special sessions will also include:
* Semi-classical songs to help bridge Carnatic foundations with casual music genres.
* Theory classes to strengthen their understanding of ragas, talas, compositions, and musical forms.
These sessions are designed to enhance creativity, break monotony, and develop all-round musicianship in a structured and enjoyable way.
