Well, my two oldest daughters are in Chicago. They wanted to take their first trip by themselves, and chose Chicago. I know what you're thinking, I was thinking some of the same things I'm sure. But I didn't tell them a lot of my concerns, I did talk to them about staying safe, gave them some good pointers and hopefully good advice, but ultimately told them to have a great time. They took some things that will help protect them to a point. But they also aren't going to the dark alleys of the city, so I'm sure they'll be fine. I can also track their locations too, which puts my nerves at ease a bit. One thing I wouldn't let them go without was a way for them to charge their phones from pretty much anywhere.
