Are these riots going to spread?

Something we've been talking a lot about internally here are the growing number of riots this year. We've all seen riots before, well most of us have, but the what we're witnessing now, is something not many, if any, have seen.
It seems like everything eventually turns to a riot. Why? I'm not sure. I have my ideas, and they have nothing to do with why the unrest started, but usually ends having nothing to do with why it started, if that makes sense.
Anyway, these riots are spreading, not physically just yet, but they are spreading this idea that if you disagree with something, or if you're upset about something, you can take to the streets, and cause chaos.
Protesting is one thing, I think many of us agree on that, but these full on violent and property destroying riots just aren't ok.
Soon, I fear many more of us will be faced with circumstances that will lead us to be in or near riots. I live in a small town in Ohio, but even here, I can sense the tension that's building, not because something happened here or even near here, but because people can see what's happening on the other side of the county, mainly in Seattle, and they think they can declare these "zones" other places as well.
These zones aren't safe, not even to drive through, if your route happens to go that way. People are being attacked for simply walking through or even near there.
So what can you do?
Well you could avoid the area all together. But what if you have to go near there?
Well in my opinion you need to be armed, and packing some body armor. I've mentioned this a few times before. But wearing some form of protection is important, but riots and civil unrest will make them vital for your safety.
