do you invite your kids to cook with you?

Good morning !
Today I am thinking about the fact that I have been slacking in getting my younger two in the kitchen cooking and baking. Their sister was much more independent in the kitchen by 10, but coming up on 10 years Brookland is definitely not there.
Why?
Because some kids mature faster than others, older siblings in particular. But this is something we need to work on. Something I need to work on. And have started with baking cookies, the simplest cookies ever I think, Kraft peanut butter cookies that are only three ingredients.
Brookland did great, she did everything but remove the cookie sheet from the oven, which I helped her with.
Have you tried getting your kids in the kitchen? It is rewarding for them, the joy of having a delicious finished product. Making something that they get to share with their family, and maybe even their friends.
You can check out my Getting Your Kids in the Kitchen page for tips on getting started and recipes to make with your kids.
Make sure you are following along with our homeschool life on Facebook and Instagram. This is where I share the everyday stuff.
I have been updating my Amazon Shop, all the great things that we use in our homeschool so make sure you check that out.
I hope you have a great day!
