Things are still crazy due to COVID, homeschooling does not look the same this year as it has in the past and meeting up with your homeschool friends or meet new homeschoolers most likely isn't happening in the same way it has in the past.

For us, in Nova Scotia, we are doing outdoor get togethers. We are a smaller group doing outdoor stuff. Things like:

• hiking
• playgrounds
• picnic parks

Finding friends to get together with is as simple as commenting in your local homeschool group that you are going to the park and does anyone want to join you.

This morning we are actually headed out to the playground to meet up with some friends in what is turning out to be a weekly thing. This is nice for my kids and myself.

Find someone that gets you and your kids. It can totally change your homeschool days.
