Today is a holiday in Canada, and in Nova Scotia, the May long weekend is usually the start of the outdoor garden season.

We will be hoeing rows this morning in the garden and then the planting will start !

I enjoy this part of gardening, planning, and planting. I enjoy harvesting for the most part. It's the in-between that gets me. I lose interest when there isn't something that needs to be done every day. We should get enough rain that I won't have to water it often.

We did realize yesterday that we forgot to buy corn and green bean seeds 😶 so they'll be getting planted later in the week.
