What a death spa assassin, a river & my birthday taught me (Very useful)

Hi ,
Yesterday was my birthday.

The view you see in the pic got me thinking about something I wish I'd known 26 years ago...
That view is Manhattan, seen from the Jersey side.
What separates us is the mighty Hudson River.
First off, praise be to God I'm still here enjoying this side of the dirt.
Thanks to the divine and my incredible woman, this year's spin around the sun was the best yet.
We kicked off with a homemade breakfast that was off the charts, then headed to SoJo Spa in Edgewater, NJ.
As soon as we got there we got naked for a deep tissue massage.
She paired with the dude.
I got Lisa.
(Don't judge).
How would I describe Lisa?
Part trained assassin, part supernatural being.
Her highly trained skills allowed her to separate my muscles from my bones and my soul from my body.
I love massages, right?
Been looking forward to this like a kid waiting for Santa.
But what I got was far more than I bargained for.
Lisa rearranged my chakras, recalibrated my circadian rhythm, and had me astral projecting.
No drugs or booze - just her, some essential oils, hot stones, and what I can only describe as Kill Bill death touch skills.
Here I am, face down, ass up, with just a sheet between me and this pint sized female assasin code named Lisa.
I'm in the most vulnerable situation imaginable.
My girl's there, too, but she's no help - probably enjoying the show from her own table.
The pain was deep. The pleasure?
Oh, that came later - let's call it an alternative happy ending?
10/10 - I'd go back for that torture any day.
After surviving the massage ordeal, we milked our spa package for all it was worth.
Saunas, infinity pools, mineral baths, silk soaks, cryotherapy, salt treatments - the works!
All day!
A mini-vacay in every sense.
And during this bliss, I snapped this pic, thinking:
This is the life.
I'm blessed.
If it made sense, I'd do this every damn day.
But, alas, duty calls, and bills don't pay themselves.
Speaking of the Hudson, did you know it's 315 miles long?
It snakes through parts of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and even Vermont.
The last 21 miles is where it divides NYC and New Jersey.
Curious, I looked up its source - Lake Tear of the Clouds in Upstate New York's Adirondacks.
Learned this as I write this for you today.
So, what's the connection to you and some life biz lessons?
Life's like a river, folks.
Sitting on the bank, you see the flow but not where it begins or ends.
Contemplating jumping in?
Think "upstream" or "downstream" for any situation - business, career, life milestones.
For business, consider the buyer's journey.
The transaction point?
That's the POINT of sale.
Like navigating a river, your sales can be smooth or full of rapids.
Do this well, and you'll enjoy river views on your terms, deep tissue massages optional.
Speaking of rivers, upstream thinking, and making sales with ease:
How's your lead flow?
Want more eye balls on your offers?
If you DON’T have, AT LEAST, some organic content out there…
Why not?
Would you like help with that?
Let me know and I’ll reach out to tell ya more about it.
