Hi

I just got through a mini nightmare.

It could’ve been catastrophic.

Thank goodness…

I survived.

This is a Friday 13th I won’t soon forget.

Here’s what happened…

Computer was acting glitchy.

Tried figuring out the issue.

Did a clean boot (I won’t get into details).

Long and short…

I didn’t check an important box that would allow me to log in again using my

PIN.

The only other way to log in was using a password.

Only problem…

I didn’t remember my password.

Panic ensued.

At first I thought it’d be a quick fix.

Like hitting the backspace button or something.

Nope.

Holy crap was that so far from the truth.

Hours down rabbit holes.

Frustration meter quickly going to red.

I felt desperation.

Pissed off!

"Damnit wtf do I do?!"

Then…

I just relaxed.

I remembered something…

I’m not in danger…

And in the grand scheme of things…

This ain’t that serious.

I figured worst case scenario…

I’ll just clean install everything if I have to.

Such is life.

At least I’m alive and I’m not in any danger.

The fact it happened on Jason Vorhee's day....

Geeze, lol.

Anyways, after calming down from the mini panic attack, I simply went to work.

Thankfully, I followed all the instructions and figured it out.

I won’t say I’m an IT pro, but hot damn do I feel like I leveled up today.

Customer support desk, come at me, bro!

I could probably handle level one.

Me: “Sorry you’re experiencing this, today.  I know it’s frustrating but I promise we’ll get you through this.  If I can’t help you, I’ll make sure to get you a few hundred links you can sort through. Happy Friday.”

For me, this is a killer day to remember.

For hockey face, it’s just another day getting revenge for mom…
