The two quotes above are from The Revolt of Angels by Anatole France. I started reading it sometime back and got sidetracked by life and other pressing literary pursuits. I hope to resume and finish it soon.

I had a fabulous 4th of July and went to the theater to see Young Washington. I recommend that everyone give it a watch. Sure, there are inaccuracies, but over all it's good. It's certainly a step in the right direction. My remarks about Young Washington can be found here.

My books are available on knp now, and I'm happy to see some folks are reading the heck out of them. Speaking of reading, I ran a contest here last month, which is now closed, and forgot to announce that Bonnie was the winner. How did she win? She was the only one who submitted a number. Therefore, she was the closest. She chose Smoke for her autographed paperback--a great choice!

I have a short story ready to send off for consideration in an anthology, and I just sent in my manuscript for Accidental Wizard with structural edits. Look for publication in September.

Tomorrow, I'm on my way to Writers Cantina in sunny Utah. If any of you will be there, please let me know. I'll be spouting frivolous remarks laced with deep wisdom on a couple panels, but mostly I look forward to meeting with other writers and my friends at Rac Press.
