I spent most of the day working on a short story for a magic malfunction anthology. I had a major breakthrough and now I just have to figure out the finish. Don't forget, "A Stardust Memory" comes out next week. I'll link it next time.


I finished Lincoln's Last Trial this week. Spoiler, his client was found not guilty. I really would like to say more about it - but I can't.

Some time ago, I was thinking about this weird language we call English. Did you ever notice how you can add one letter to the front or end of a word and completely change the pronunciation?

Some examples: Heater - Theater; Rough - Trough; Though - Thought; and my personal favorite: Laughter - Slaughter.
