When I have fears that I may cease to be

When I have fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has glean'd my teeming brain,
Before high piled books, in charactry,
Hold like rich garners the full-ripen'd grain;
When I behold, upon the night's starr'd face,
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
And think that I may never live to trace
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance;
From: When I have Fears that I may Cease to Be - John Keats
One edit down. Another continues. Deadline looms.
I finished Three Hearts and Three Lions by Poul Anderson. My synopsis and brief thoughts are here.
I meant to insert a history bite here, but I don't have the time to do it right. I'll have to bring you more of De Soto's adventure next time.
Also, it's time for a giveaway - in the next newsletter.
It's been a busy week with a trip to the old chateau to haul the final load of things that may have value and lock them in storage, so I can pay to keep my stuff where I can't use it. Insane, isn't it? However, I don't plan and paying storage fees long enough that I could buy all new stuff with the fees. I'm hoping it won't be long. Although, if I add the truck rental and gas to the storage fees, I could've bought a nice sofa. On the bright side, we did haul several pickup loads of stuff to the dump so we wouldn't have to haul it across the state. Nevertheless, I can't help but think that I've probably retained the equivalent of one load of stuff that I would've been wiser to discard.

Check out Laura and the Shadow King, by Bruno Martin Soares for a tale of a terrible pandemic, special ops, zombie-like sickos, dangerous gangs, and (in case all that isn't enough) Russian invaders. Wow!
