What kind of girl introduces herself with a kiss

“Unfortunately, I could tell that she was not the kind of girl to introduce herself with a kiss.”

― Stanley Wheeler, Smoke

That seemed like an appropriate quote for the day after Valentines Day--and I love quoting myself. As for the question of what kind of girl introduces herself with a kiss, I'll leave the matter open for discussion.

On the writing front, I'm still wrestling with a short story. I've got 2 for the take down but I can't seem to get the near fall points and finish it with the pin. I did some editing on it last night. It tasks me! It tasks me, and I shall have it! I'll chase it 'round the Antares Maelstrom and 'round Perdition's flames before I give it up. -- with apologies to both Ahab and Khan.

In the matter of what I'm reading, I'm still pushing through James Beckwouth's story of his life as a mountain man and Crow chief. I've also added a collection of Agatha Christie Mysteries.
