I am a part of all that I have met

"I am a part of all that I have met;

Yet all experience is an arch wherethro’

Gleams that untravell’d world whose margin fades

For ever and forever when I move."

--"Ulysses" - Tennyson

Do you have a favorite line from that poem? If so, let me know.

It's a short newsletter this time.

Here's the best news: Truth in Flames in 99 cents but only for one week. Before the next letter goes out, it will be back up to the regular price of $4.99. I love this book. It is truly the heart of the Tomahawks and Dragon Fire Series. Get it. Read it. Fall in love with the series. Tell your friends to get it while it's cheap.

On the writing front, Bugs in the System teeters on the brink of completion. I wrote very little since the previous newsletter, but today I ran it up to but not across the finish line. Life is happening and writing time has suffered the most.

In music appreciation with eldest daughter this week, I chose two songs from my "Selections" playlist with a common theme: Jackson Browne's "Doctor My Eyes" and Bob Welch's "Ebony Eyes." Here's a shocker: She didn't care for either one, but admitted that if she had to listen to one of them again, she would pick "Doctor My Eyes." She seemed to like that tune a little better, but otherwise gave equal marks for voice and lyrics.

Winner of the caption contest:

Can't today, I have dragons to slay and history to alter. Also - make brownies.

--Budd Trippet

 Budd can contact me about his selection from my 99 cent menu. I'll have another (hopefully better) caption contest soon. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the short fiction contest entries. Any interest in another one of those?

Thanks for being a reader
