To a rag and hank of hair

A fool there was and he made his prayer (Even as you or I!) To a rag and a bone and a hank of hair, (We called her the woman who did not care), But the fool he called her his lady fair— (Even as you or I!)

From Kipling's "Vampire"

I've completed editing and have submitted my wyrd west. I have another tale to submit next week, and another one or two to write. My short story spree will conclude - I think - and then I'll get Bugs in the System up and get to the adventure novella of Captain Rip and Antonio.

I finished reading Crusaders by Dan Jones. I've already posted a couple fun facts about it on the blog. It's a highly readable account of the crusades, including the action in northeastern Europe. Fun facts and gruesome details litter the account like battlefield flotsam. I recommend it, giving it four out of five mangonels.

I am looking for some reviews. Each of these excellent books are only 99 cents for a limited time. This one is my favorite in the series--so far.
