Blame yourself and you'll be happier

Are your friends often insensitive to your plans?

Is your wife always late?

Are you not paid enough?

Well, I hate to break it to you but it's all your fault.

And even when it isn't, you should take the blame. Trust me, you'll feel better and others will respect you more.

Think about it...

Why are you not earning more money? Because nobody will pay you more. And why is that? Because you're not bringing them more value than you're already paid.

So whose fault is it in the end?

If you get better at whatever it is you're doing, you'll also start making more money. It's nothing more than simple logic.

And how about when you feel like EVERYONE is out to get you and NOBODY is on your side?

Again, it's your faulty thinking because nobody even considers your feelings -- they're too busy thinking about themselves. It hasn't even occured to them that their actions might hurt you.

In the off chance someone actually wants to hurt you, it's either because you did something first so it's your fault again. Or for no reason at all, in which case you can't do anything about it anyway, so no need to get upset over it.

In the end, something that happens to you 5 years from now could be because of something you do today. Taking a huge loan, cheating or doing business with someone you don't trust. Either way, everything you do will go full circle.

Finally, even if things happen that are 100% outside your control and not your fault, you'll feel better by taking the blame and owning your life.

After all, does anyone like a whiner who always complains about other people and is never at fault himself? You be the judge.

See you around,

Filip
