Excuse me {{contact.first_name}}, if you had one do-over, what would it be?

Dear ,

Is it better to adopt the attitude of the extraordinary Edna Mode, weapons designer extraordinaire of The Incredibles or to return and revise earlier work?

I ask because I am defying my inner Edna and returning to where it all began - my first novel To Conquer Heaven.

My first novel received some rave reviews and also some criticism that it was too long. And so, I thought I just might do something about that. One excruciating week and 6,457 cuts later (yes, I counted) and I am almost done.

I guess the question is better phrased, is it worth looking back and reworking earlier material? Or should you keep pushing steadily onward and (hopefully) upward?

But back to you. If there was one thing in your life you could do over, what would it be?

I read every reply.
