At our most significant announcement in a long time, we are delighted to share that the US now has its own primary data center.
Previously, anyone visiting sites hosted by Fast Moose in the United States would make use of our globally distributed free content delivery network. The origin server was in the United Kingdom, but content delivery would be carried out on servers from seven different US CDN nodes.
Now, with our new USA data centre, you may also choose to have your origin server in the US. It's centrally located in Dallas, Texas. So if most of your customers from the USA are here, we would prefer you to apply it to.
The US data centre will improve site speed and help with search engine optimisation within the US. Working with our CDN, it will deliver the quickest possible page loading speeds across the whole region.
Pricing
- SWITCH from UK to USA as primary server
$100/ $50 - One Time Fee (Your current account will be moved to USA servers and future hosting accounts will be created in USA server.) OR - ADDON USA as an additional primary server
$250/yr/ $125/yr (You will have option to use either location for your hosting accounts and on request to change location of the server for any current & future hosting accounts.)
Choose your data centre: USA / UK or BOTH
You can have just UK or USA as your data center or BOTH. With both optioned in you can choose to host your websites on preferred location.
For instance, if you choose to switch your data center from the UK to USA, you can do it with a one-time fee with a one-time promotion. This will apply to all your existing and future hosting accounts. Or set it up on small annual fee add on USA in addition to UK data center in your account which then you can use either location for your existing and future hosting accounts.

Great! you can bring all your US customers together into one control panel. If you haven't yet hosted your US customers in the United States, you can transfer them to the US host's servers by making use of our free migration service.
