Sugar Cookies

I've said it before and I'll say it again: cookies are going to be the trend of home cooking in 2021. Given that the holidays are around the corner, it's apropos for you (and me) to learn how to make some delicious sugar cookies and be ahead of the curve.

I'm going to start out with the gif recipe above and then try rolling them out with a rolling pin (roll out method) to create different shapes. "They" say this Royal icing will make you fancier. Who knows?
