We love building businesses from scratch, the excitement, the chaos. It has been a long time since my last real startup, and it was fun. Turn out the experience of building companies for so long pays off. It is so different to get a direct response from your customers without waiting for years for the technology to mature. There is a genuine thrill in creating a live theatrical experience.

Over the last 2 Years, every significant investment fund and corporate Venture Fund has attended or participated in our Event, which is free to presenting companies and audiences. We like to make complex technology as fun as possible.
The Idea of SENSES came up during Covid (Which did not reach us in Canggu, Bali)! Creating an actual community event for our thrown-together expat community. The last few thousand people from around the globe made Bali their home during the pandemic, no matter how much our home companies were urging us to return.
CREATING A CONCEPT THAT INSPIRES PEOPLE
Creating SENSES has become a super fun social experiment with a fantastic outcome, a long-term partnership with the W Hotel Seminyak. We are creating High-Quality and Profitable Events without investing at all. The lesson! Just start and build your audience, test the concept, and love what you do. The rest will follow, hyper-personalize your message.
The Event was limited due to Covid Limitation to 700 guests; we could have easily fit 1000-1500 guests for this special evening. The Fun Factor SENSES is a great platform to create awareness for our current Zero Carbon Fundraiser at WeFunder, which has just hit 250.000 USD on and off-platform. SENSES was the foundation of a long-term collaboration converting hospitality waste into clean energy right onsite. You can learn more about our campaign right here!

At the Next SENSES Event On August 26th., EX Venture will be introducing Des Alges- Skincare for Super Sensitive Skin based on Seaweed Collagen
Des Alges is the first startup resulting from our investment into a German Government Program focussing on Seaweed Farming.
EX Venture is investing along the entire value chain of Seaweed Production, Harvesting, Processing, etc. There are numerous applications for this incredibly fast-growing bio compound. We are looking into use cases at Bio-Polymer with the university in Jena (Germany) as well as Green Hydrogen (BIO H2)
