Cheshire, the pink & purple-striped cat and the world today

May 19, 2022 11:37 pm

So last night I was watching Alice in Wonderland with my daughter (the 1951 animated classic by Disney).

It must have been 25 years since I saw this film last. My favourite character is Cheshire, the pink & purple-striped cat.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” said Alice.

“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the cat.

“We’re all mad here. I am mad. You’re mad.”

How do you know I’m mad?” Asked Alice.

“You must be,” said the cat. “Or you wouldn’t have come.”

We are Alice going down the rabbit hole and the whole world has gone mad, but they can’t see it, they think it’s normal.

The more we see, the stranger and more bizarre things become…

It’s like so many people have turned into the stoned caterpillar sitting on the mushroom, just smoking away, having no idea what is going on around them, pure escapism, they can’t handle the transformations that are happening.

It’s sad really.

Later on in the story, Alice meets the Queen of Hearts, the irate dictator whose only answer to a problem is “Off with her head!”

This is the direction things are going in the world, if you disagree or speak up for the truth, you are condemned.

The whole world has gone mad.

The best defence to protect yourself against all the craziness in the world is to be as wealthy as possible, and the biggest opportunity I know of is in Web 3.0 and the blockchain ecosystem.

We are doing a huge half-day workshop this Sunday, there is no charge to attend, go here to register:
