What I have seen regarding the "Panama Situation"

I wrote the following on a thread in our private Facebook Group and decided to repost it here because a lot of people appreciated my perspective and information about the situation in Panama:
So far things are pretty normal where I live in Panama City. Maybe you can only get 3 types of lettuce instead of 10 types at the grocery store (I shot a quick video at the grocery store for my friend so I will repost it here).
My daughter still takes the bus to summer camp every day by herself (she's 6) and we have been out for dinner a few times and things were fine, actually, there were a couple of vegan dishes a client of mine wanted to order at dinner and they were out so the chef prepared something else for him, it looked nice.
Our nanny was an hour late for work one day because those on strike blocked the road but then they moved on.
I have spoken to lots of friends who also live here in Panama and no one is concerned who actually lives here. I even spoke to my friend who works in the security industry and he is not concerned either, and he is normally pretty paranoid about everything...
There are many groups involved in these strikes and protests so it is hard to say what everyone is after, the big two things are cleaning up government corruption, which I fully agree with (all governments in the world are corrupt and Latin American governments are DOUBLE corrupt). Corruption in Latin America is par for the course and anyone who moves to this part of the world and was expecting something different really does not understand the region.
And two, rising fuel and food prices. This is happening everywhere in the world and I would expect more and more people to be angry about it. What is happening in the world is a manufactured crisis, there is no reason we should be having these types of shortages, there is a deliberate and concentrated attempt to destroy civilization and we will all need to take measures to protect our families while we go through this.
I am glad to be in Panama at least where we can grow our own food, not back in the UAE where we lived for 8 years and everything had to be brought in.
The worst thing that I have personally seen since I got back last week from Europe was a really crazy storm 2 days ago, tons of rain and the water overflowed the windowsills in our apartment, it took us 2 hours to clean it up.
There is a lot of fake news being pushed out online and on social media so don't believe everything you see, you should know and verify the source of what you are getting, even me, please go online and learn about me and my credibility, please speak to people who have met me and can speak to my character, I absolutely encourage you to do so.
Also please understand, the name of the game is not to try and find the "one perfect place you will be safe", it's about being set up in multiple jurisdictions and areas where you can have a home and protect your assets so as things get worse we can be nimble and move between jurisdictions. With my Private Clients, we are always looking at many different areas in the world and stacking jurisdictions to accomplish our overall goal of freedom. Never just one place like Panama for example.
Anyways, at this point, no one in my family is concerned about staying at our place in Panama. If things change we will simply move to one of our other bases. Panama has a ton to offer and is a beautiful country, if you are concerned about what is happening here, then you should come down and take a look yourself.
If you feel like joining in on the conversation and hearing other people's points of view who live here in Panama then here is the thread:
