Supporting projects that support freedom
Nov 15, 2021 5:01 pm
These days I focus on working a lot with other organizations on viable options for freedom.
It’s no secret the world has gone to hell-in-a-handbasket over the last two years...
...and I try not to pile on with more bad news, you guys already see what’s going on, your not blind.
Instead, I try to focus on real-life solutions, I’m constantly reading and studying different concepts and assessing new projects around the world, trying to network and build relationships with smarter people than me.
Earlier this year, I got to know the founder and elected head of state of Liberland, president Vít Jedlička.
I’ve been following along with the Liberland project for about 5 or 6 years and talked to those involved before, but have not had the pleasure of meeting Vít until this year.
After developing a friendship, I was fortunate to be able to interview him on the podcast for episode 159: Creating A Libertarian Country From Scratch
The more I study the Liberland project the more I love it. There are so many things going for it that it makes me hopeful for the future.
It shows me that there are other really excellent people out there trying to fight back and create a safe haven enclave for anyone seeking freedom.
They are using blockchain technology for new ways of governance, a voluntary tax system, and three constitutional bodies that can get rid of laws but only one who can create them.
There is a lot of work to do to get this system ready and the land still needs to be developed but I think it is a project worth supporting.
I will be putting my money where my mouth is (as always) and be picking up a second citizenship there, maybe you should think about doing the same.
The residency application takes about 5 minutes to complete and from there you can take a phone call with their staff to learn more about how you can further get involved.
